PROJECT MANAGER - BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE (CONTRACT) £450-550 PER DAY, 6 MONTHS CENTRAL LONDON A forward-thinking Insurance Brand is looking for an innovative, energetic Project Manager to lead technical project teams in the development of a new data asset. This will allow the company to accelerate the development of their Data & Analytics, pushing the business to the next level by allowing decision making to be data-driven. THE COMPANY: This company is is a global subsidiary of a giant in the insurance industry. They are making great strides in setting up an extensive Data & Analytics team to keep them one step ahead of the competition. THE ROLE: As a Project Manager you will be responsible for leading a team developing new technologies and data assets within a forward-thinking Financial Institution. In specific, you can expect to be involved in the following: Manage stakeholder interactions to ensure they are highly productive and informative for the technical project teams. Lead the planning process in order to set prioritisation of the tasks to be set out for the team, applying the right mix of Agile & Waterfall methodologies (as appropriate) Organise and lead workshops, meetings and interactions to elicit requirements. Managing teams split across different locations & timezones Overseeing a major change management piece and the implementation and roll-out of self-service analytics across a major corporation YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: The successful Project Manager will have the following skills and experience: Strong experience project managing a New Tech Implementation in a Financial Services (ideally Insurance) industry A strong understanding of projects involving the full Azure stack, Data Science & self-service Business Intelligence Proven commercial experience leading international teams with both agile & waterfall methodology Excellent communication skills, capable of dealing with all levels of a business from senior stakeholders to technical developers Complete understanding of the fundamentals of Data & Analytics and iterative development THE BENEFITS: The successful Project Manager will earn between £450 and £550 per day for the initial 6 month period, and get the opportunity to lead an innovative team.
