Overview

Paraplanner - London - 40-50k Would you like to work for a gold chartered firm established 27 years ago who have brought themselves into the modern age but have over 200 years of technical ability and financial services experience? They specialise in three areas of the market which includes asset management, financial advice and fund management. This is a paraplanner role with a difference where you will be treated equally working with one sole adviser and supported with all technical aspects of the role involved heavily with the customer Journey and experience. Elements and Requirements • Preparation of reports for clients on financial planning matters. • Obtaining quotations and other relevant literature to accompany client reports. • Preparation of packs for meetings with clients including investment valuations. • Maintain annual Client review process by reviewing portfolios and writing review letters and updating systems. Liaising with Admin/Support to arrange Client review meetings where applicable. • Liaising directly with clients as the “assistant to the adviser”. This will include a variety of queries in connection with the client’s financial affairs. It will be important that the candidate obtains detailed knowledge on all clients for whom he/she is working to carry out these tasks. • Preparing New Business checklists to pass to the Administration Department after checking Applications, anti-money laundering documents and illustrations before the business is placed for clients. Update new Client Progress & Compliance and Monitoring sheet. • Attend client meetings when required with adviser and contribute to such meetings. • Undertake research as required for specific projects. • Learning and using all applications required for the job including: - Excel/Word, Intelligent office and Virtual Cabinet would be the best mix for this role. Essentials • At least 2 year’s experience in a paraplanning or technical role within the IFA profession – Relevant Investment experience is a key aspect for this role. • Diploma qualified at minimum (Unless you have been paraplanning fully for the last 3-4 years deeming you qualified by experience. • An ability to quickly and independently make sound decisions On application if your current experience is relevant to the role I will call you to discuss benefits of the role and other aspects.
