Overview

Role: Junior Network Engineer Location: Solihull Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 DOE A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Junior Network Engineer to join a leading organisation in Solihull. My client is looking for someone who can provide a 1st/2nd line technical support within the business, this will include IT infrastructure support both remotely and on-site. Responsibilities: Junior Network Engineer Liaising with third-party suppliers to resolve customer problems. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with customers and vendors with varying degrees of technical knowledge. Ability to form strong relationships with customers, ensuring customer service is always a high priority. Flexible and adaptable. Ability to take ownership of Incidents & Problem Management and seeing them through to a resolution. Technical skills and experienced: Junior Network Engineer 1st / 2nd line IT Infrastructure support experience Switching/Routing Firewalls (Security) Wireless (Preferably Aruba) Virtual Private Network (VPN’s) VOIP Telephony Solutions Desirable: Junior Network Engineer Barracuda Appliances Cisco Devices Aruba Wi-Fi (IAP’s, Cloud Central Software) BT/BroadSoft VoIP support and configuration Azure Cloud Networking Wireless Survey (Preferably Ekahau) This a huge opportunity to join a lovely working environment who in return you will get to work for a dynamic and enthusiastic company which has a generous benefits package and a generous approach to training and career development and progression.
