Overview
Job Description Your role at KSOL is everything digital. If it can be viewed or heard, you will be involved with the project. As a Junior digital designer, you will be supporting the creative direction of KSOL and reporting directly to the digital development manager and be part of the wider marketing and education engagement team. Your focus will be online and design work, so a technical understanding and an eagerness to learn is very important. Your creativity and passion for technology will help the team deliver the next generation of e-learning platforms for different sectors in education and other vertical markets. This role is ideal for a recent graduate or an individual with at least 1-year commercial experience. Key to the role is support for existing web projects as well as designing and developing new websites and new content using HTML5, CSS, DNN, Adobe and various audio and video tools. You must have a genuine desire to expand your horizons and develop your design skills to help improve customer interaction. Alongside website design and development as well as print development, you will be closely involved with SEO projects and designing new email templates to improve customer engagement. Your digital skills will be equally shared by the education team at KSOL, where you will be developing new interactive content covering Maths and English for KSOL’s TargetTeach e-learning tool. While we will help you learn and improve your technical skills with relevant training, you must be able to bring to KSOL your design skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers alike. You must be able to demonstrate your design skills at interview stage Key Aspects of Role: Help maintain existing Website - work within a team to improve SEO and UX Design new websites Using and implementing new products in Google Analytics as well as using other tools to understand the customer journey Design and develop new educational contents for KSOL’s Targetteach platform Work within the larger Marketing team delivering excellent design and helping with general day to day activities including helping customers over the telephone.
