The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for the operational management of the CPD Audit, which provides assurance that members are maintaining their competence. Along with, providing support to maintain quality assurance measures across the Qualifications Team. Duties and Responsibilities: - Answering day-to-day enquiries relating to assurance activities, including the CPD Audit and recording of CPD - Administration of the CPD Audit process, from creating the random sample through to the distribution of audit feedback to members. - To act as Secretariat for the CPD Panel and Audit Panel - Acting as the first point of contact for CPD Auditors - Providing guidance and advice to members on the use of the CPD online tool and confirming policy and procedures - Preparing statistical reports and papers associated with audits, the annual CPD Audit and other Quality Assurance activities - Updating and maintaining information on the database (MEMSYS) following agreed procedures - Champion excellent customer service by providing accurate and concise information within the agreed timeframes - Promoting and supporting a positive CPD ethic within the team - Act as a source of expert knowledge and guidance on audits and CPD - Compiling a range of written materials, including papers for panel meetings, guidance notes, email responses and other communications to members and volunteers - Supporting the wider work of the Quality Assurance and Training team, including the administration of the team training schedule - Identifying and reporting inconsistencies and making recommendations for process improvement Skills and Experience: - Intermediate Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint - Excellent written and oral capability - Accurate data input skills and excellent attention to detail - The ability to multi-task to see a variety of projects to completion within agreed timescales - The ability to analyse data - Experience of providing good customer service - Experience of using databases - Ability to work to deadlines - Ability to work under minimal supervision - Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels - Willingness to work as part of a team, be open-minded and collaborative Desirable: - Degree level or equivalent - Experience of committee support - Experience of minute-taking - Exposure of quality assurance techniques Benefits include: - 25 days annual leave plus Bank Holidays - Discounted food from on-site café bar - Up to eight per cent of salary contributed to a personal pension scheme - Interest free season ticket loan - Cycle to work scheme - Big Gym membership savings with the Gymflex scheme - Your Rewards discount scheme Applicants must include a covering letter within the same document as their CV.
