Logistics and Materials Support Manager needed in the Milton Keynes area. If so, we have the role for you Kingsley is currently supporting a key client who are one of the market leaders in the commercial electrical metering and energy management sector who are seeking a Logistics and Materials Support Manager to join the business on a full-time permanent basis. Salary & Benefits: Basic salary of £32,000 - £35,000 p/a (DOE) Annual bonus 28 days paid holiday (plus bank holidays) Flexible employee benefits package Pension Scheme Role Overview: The purpose of this role is to manage and develop the office-based field services support team which provides first line support to the companies Field Technicians conducting installations and maintenance across the UK. This role will also be responsible for all aspects of field stock management which includes forecasting, procurement and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: Maintain an accurate and extensive inventory data base, Manage the replenishment of all technician stock and the stock levels Creation of product codes and purchase orders Tracking stock movements, including goods inwards, dispatches, returns and rejections Conduct and oversee inventory audits Liaise with other teams and staff to maintain accurate stock locations, and manage third party contracts responsible for storage and distribution of stock Produce stock reports as required and manage all inventory records Manage internal/external stakeholders in relation to stock / inventory matters Monitor scrap/wastage processes to identify improvement areas Provide coaching, support and identify training requirements to support individual development within the team Individual Requirements Conversant in the use of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics Strong managerial experience with the ability to manage and communicate at all levels Excellent time management skills, working to deadlines and possessing the ability to prioritise tasks and objectives Ability to meet and achieve tight internal and external deadlines Previous experience of supplier relationship management Utilities stock management experience would be advantageous Please contact Rob at Kingsley for any further information Kingsley Consulting operates an inclusive and diverse recruitment process, whilst also ensuring our clients do the same and we can provide any advice or education to them in relation to this.
