Overview
In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for the administration of network and server infrastructure within all departments and planning of technology projects. The successful candidate will also be the liaison with telecommunications providers and will support the company’s telecommunications infrastructure. Job Description: Establish and publish clear priorities for project activities. Monitor deliverables from team members to ensure they are completed on time Manage the process to review and document project related internal business processes Assist internal teams to improve efficiency of documented business processes and workflows Liaise closely with the technical teams to ensure that user requirements are effectively interpreted into technical specifications Develop a communication plan to keep all stakeholders informed of progress and issues Work with the external supplier team and others as required Receive their plans and ensure that they are aware of their tasks and deliver according to plan. Ensuring the overall plan co-ordinates deliverables across parties Make sure internal preparation activities are completed in time for go-live Make sure infrastructure (and associated support) is in place for deliveries from external parties Manage Change requests with third parties and ensure internal sign off Track and report on progress to plan Person Specification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field Previous experience as an IT professional Previous supervisory experience in an IT Department In-depth knowledge of VMWare, Microsoft Windows, Office365 Apps administration, network administration and service desk administration Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences Additional Information: Based in Earlsfield £35,000 - £45,000 Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5pm 20 days holiday plus bank holidays AE pension scheme We appreciate the time you took to apply for this vacancy, however due to the high level of applications that we receive, we can only respond to successful candidates.
