Overview
An organisation based in central Leeds, looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join the finance team taking on responsibility for credit control and sales ledger. Job Description Carry out an agreed range of credit control procedures in order to optimise cash flow, ensure debtor days are improved, and older debts are effectively dealt with. Ensure complete credit control records are kept and maintained Liaise with solicitors as required. Deal with internal and external customer payment and account queries, including taking customer payments by card over the telephone Produce accurate monthly Sales Ledger reconciliations and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) information to agreed deadlines. Produce weekly information Process and maintain the system which allows customers to pay by monthly direct debit Process cash book transactions including sales receipts The Successful Applicant Substantial credit control and sales ledger experience including taking accounts through to solicitors Good all-round accounting knowledge and experience Experience of financial accounting software Experience of working with a number of different internal departments What's on Offer On offer is a fantastic position with a rewarding organisation.
