Overview
DevOps Engineer Location: Birmingham Contract: 6 months Rate: £350 - £375 IR35 Status: Outside My client based in the Nottingham area are looking for an DevOps Engineer on a 6-month contract. The successful Information DevOps Engineer will be required to: Design solutions and services with security controls embedded, specifically engineered as mitigation against security threats as a core part of the solutions and services Take ownership of problems and proactively resolve technical problems, ensuring that technical solutions continue to meet business requirements. Take full accountability for actions taken and decisions made You will architect, develop, implement & support new cloud-based environments to support IT strategy You will perform the technical elements of software release working with technology teams & stakeholders You will understand the charging model for Cloud Services DevOps Engineer Specification: MS Azure Cloud Services (with AWS experience a big plus) Extensive systems administration of LAMP and Microsoft Windows environments Source Control with GIT on one of GitHub, Bitbucket, GitLab, Azure DevOps repos Solid understanding of TCP/IP networking concepts and major protocols Bash Scripting and Python If you are an experienced DevOps Engineer available now or in the near future for a new contract opportunity, please apply with your updated CV or call Axl at Premier Group for further information.
