Revenues Officer Local Authority within Croydon CR0 £15.86 PAYE £19.52 UMBRELLA ASAP START 8 Week Temporary Assignment A local authority within London Borough of Croydon are recruiting for 6 experienced Revenue Officers to join the Customer and Transformation Division. The purpose of the role is to provide an excellent service to all customers requiring assistance in resolving their account queries (written or verbal) to enable the efficient collection and recovery of council tax and business rates in order to maximise customer satisfaction and revenue collection for the organisation. Duties: Administering the Billing, Collection and Recovery of Council Tax Using collection experience to recover unpaid Council Tax Taking payments and negotiating payment plans Opening, closing and amending accounts Applying discounts, reliefs and exemptions Liaising with external companies such as Enforcement Agents Dealing with enquiries by telephone, and written correspondence on all queries related to Council Tax Northgate ICT system is preferable but not essential please be advised only successful candidates will be contacted Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
