Overview
Positive Employment is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Revenues Officer to work for our client based in North London. The successful candidate must be proficient in letter writing and have good use of grammar and legislation covering both taxes. Target driven office and candidates must complete and average of 40 items per day. Duties to include but not limited to: To provide high quality professional advice, guidance and support in respect of Councils Tax and Business Rates to internal and external partners. This would include the specialist rating advisers, landlords, estate agents, solicitors, the customer service centre, Benefits Service, Housing Service, enforcement agents and the Valuation Office Agency Administration of insolvency/bankruptcy cases for straight forward cases , including liaison with insolvency practitioners, debt recovery companies and assisting with the issuing of legal notices such as statutory demands Provide general advice on Council Tax Support as required including using computer records of claims to inform and advice customers correctly In additional to using your own initiative to locate absconders through the recognised tracing channels Working hours: 09:00- 17:00, Monday to Friday This is a Temporary role but could possibly become permanent Please note only candidates eligible to work in the UK will be considered
