Overview
Central Employment are working in partnership with a leading Newcastle firm, supporting them in their search for a Court of Protection Paralegal. A successful candidate will get an opportunity to join a very successful team, working very closely with the Head of Department. Responsibilities Offering end to end supporting with current cases Managing your won caseload Attending client meetings Successfully communicating with other members of the team, making sure everyone is updated on the progress Advising and representing clients, ensuring professionalism at all times Recording all changes accurately, making sure changes are communicated with the rest of the team Assisting the Head of Department with any other ad hoc duties Experience Previous experience of working with COP cases or in a Family Law Dept on a variety of cases would be beneficial Genuine interest in COP cases and looking for a long term career in that area A law degree would be desirable but not essential Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate clearly and deliver feedback to both clients and the team in professional manner Ability to sympathise with the clients, showing full understanding of their problems This is a great opportunity to join a full service, local firm known for their long-standing reputation and open approach to both employees and clients.
