Overview

Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager required by a well-known and respected national awarding body based in the City of London. Our client, develop, implement and manage a wide range of policy and projects across the UK to educate and empower individuals, effect change and celebrate excellence. This role will ensure suitable quality assurance systems and procedures are maintained, adhered to and provide evidence of compliance. To ensure the organisation and regulatory policies, procedures and requirements are met by applicants before approval. To monitor and assure the compliance of approved centres within the organisation including regulatory policies, procedures and requirements. This is a full-time permanent role, paying £38,000 per annum plus excellent benefits. Interviews asap. Core duties of the Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager: " Lead on the development, maintenance and review of procedures and documentation for regulatory compliance and quality assurance. " Monitor and audit the systems and procedures within the Qualifications Department to ensure compliance with the requirements of regulators. " Develop, maintain and review procedures and documentation for approving Centres to deliver qualifications. " Approve Centres applying to deliver organisation's qualifications that meet requirements. " Develop and review on a regular basis risk-based procedures for monitoring, visiting and inspecting approved Centres. " Carry out compliance visits, either in person or remotely where appropriate, to Centres approved for the delivery of qualifications and produce reports on the visit for the Director of Qualifications and the Head of Centre. " Lead the investigation of allegations of malpractice or maladministration, produce reports of the findings and recommend actions. " Monitor, record and investigate instances of conflict of interest and complaints relating to the department. " Assist the Director of Qualifications in ensuring ongoing compliance of the department and centres with requirements of regulatory bodies and the preparation of the Annual Statements of Compliance " Report any instances of non-compliance to the regulators as directed by the Director of Qualifications. " Review and monitor any joint working between the Qualifications Department and other departments to ensure regulatory compliance. " Organise and attend meetings of the Qualifications Governance Committee. " Attend events organised by the regulatory bodies relevant to compliance and quality assurance. " Attend assessor training events as appropriate for quality assurance. " Attend Centre support events as appropriate to aid in the monitoring and assessment of the validity of qualifications and assessments. " Maintain a detailed understanding of regulatory requirements. The Compliance and Quality Assurance Manager will most likely have/be: " Relevant experience of compliance and quality assurance relating to awarding organisations " Auditing / Compliance qualification (desirable not essential) " Experience of inspection and audit procedures " Knowledge of development of relevant policies, procedures and practices " Experience of Report writing " Experience of working with / serving committees " An understanding of diversity and equality issues " Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook If you are interested in applying for this position, please click APPLY NOW
