Overview
Black Biro Recruitment's collaborative and passionate client is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to cover an employee's Maternity Leave from June onwards, but a start date would be earlier in order to allow for handover/training. If you have relevant experience in the food sector (ideally ambient groceries) please read on. Due to the nature of the role, UK travel is required and a company car is provided. Job Summary: To liaise with both customers and suppliers to develop good relationships To manage the supplier base through KPI reports; site visits and audits etc; ensuring complete compliance to customer policies including agreed timings To issue accurate briefs from the customer to suppliers when developing new products to ensure that the supplier delivers what the customer wants To manager customer expectations To assess and report on samples provided To advise the supplier sites for all the technical requirements of the customer To ensure all products are safe; legal and of good quality To maintain good relationships with other technical staff and traders to underpin the customer and supplier relationship To be aware of any major issues: legal; environmental or safety, throughout the industry To take responsibility for certain key customer projects To manage new supplier relationships Deliverables include: Strong research abilities Accurate data recording skills and filing Excellent telephone manner Interpersonal skills Strong organisational skills Analytical and problem solving skills If you would like to find out more about this role, please apply now.
