Overview
Our client, an established firm of Chartered Accountants, are seeking an Accounts Senior/Client Manager to join their growing team in Winchester. The role will involve you managing all aspects of accounts, for your own portfolio of clients including; agricultural, rural estates, family businesses and charities. You will also be involved with compliance and advisory work, as well as assisting Directors when required. They use IRIS, Sage, Xero and CCH. Duties will include:- Producing sole trader, partnership and company accounts from a range of information such as incomplete records and final trial balances. Preparation of Trust accounts is an advantage. Business tax; knowledge of capital allowances, private proportion and other tax adjustments to be able to produce sole trader, partnership and company tax computations and have the ability to prepare and file corporation tax returns. PAYE and VAT Organising and prioritising workload and managing a client base. Liaising with clients on a regular basis. You will ideally hold a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA and have a strong accounts background with experience of running your own portfolio, preferably within practice. The hours of work are 8.30AM-5.15PM Monday to Thursday and 8.30AM to 4.30PM on Friday.
