Overview
Our client an established independent firm of Chartered Accountants are seeking an Audit and Accounts Senior to join their team in Winchester. The role will involve running audits from planning through to completion, for various clients including a mix of commercial firms and a few non-for-profits, as well as accounts work for a mixed portfolio, with a large number being farming and agricultural based clients. The role will be split approximately 70% audit and 30% accounts. A knowledge of agricultural clients is not essential, but would be helpful, along with a good understanding of accounting systems such as IRIS and CCH (Trust) Accounts. The hours of work are 8.30AM-5.15PM Monday to Thursday and 8.30AM to 4.30PM on Friday. Preferably, you will hold a professional qualification such as ACA/ACCA and ideally have a strong audit and accounts background, with at least 3-5 years in practice and experience of managing audits.
