Overview

An opportunity has arisen for a mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to work with one of the UKs leading FM Provider on a major education contract covering the Reading, Watford and South London region, working on a full time, permanent basis. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out PPM and reactive work across a number of new build and existing sites. At times, you may be required to travel outside of the geographical remit. Duties: Planned preventative maintenance and reactive works. Ensure PDAs are used to maximum effect in managing the close out of planned and reactive work orders. Pro-actively use the Maximo CAFM platform to improve operating efficiency. Ensure that the systems are also used to full effect to support our Customers business objectives. Support the Facilities Manager in implementing the successful management strategy for the contract. Work with Subcontracts and Suppliers. Oversee and escort Subcontractors around site where required. Understand the financial requirements of the contract. Ensure correct commercial procedures are followed to ensure the Clients budgets requirements are adhered to. Support the commercial team in developing quotes/business cases for out of scope/additional works. Manage entry of cost information (time and materials) into Maximo. Criteria: 18th Edition 236 Part 1 and 2 2391 T&I Good working knowledge of plumbing systems Enhanced DBS clearance desired (can be obtained following recruitment) CSCS and SSSTS accreditation (can be obtained following recruitment) Experience delivering electrical, water management and general planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance to the education sector Experience operating as a mobile repair technician and taking on elements of supervisory activities for subcontract works Benefits: Van and fuel card (strictly business use only) 26 days holiday plus bank holidays Company pension scheme Private healthcare Life cover Corporate discounts Company share scheme In return, the client offers a good work opportunity, on going training and progression, with a good work/life balance.
