Mechanical Supervisor
Overview
A M&E Contractor needs a Mechanical Supervisor for a 3 month Project at Stoke Mandeville Hospital. The role is 12 days on ( inclusive of weekends) and 2 days off. Hours of work are 10 hours Monday to Friday and 8 hour shifts at the weekends. As a Mechanical Supervisor you will primarily be the contractors representative monitoring an Asbestos removal contractor . On occasion you may be required to undertake some hands on pipework modifications , or pipework isolation work but your primary function will be to supervise work and be on site in case your technical services are needed. The successful candidate will be/have all of the following: Reside Locally Mechanical Services/Plumbing Qualifications Hands on Mechanical Services/ Pipework experience Willing to undertake hand on pipework if required Able to work a shift pattern of 12 days on 2 days off for 3 months. Strong experience of dealing with clients on site Be able to read design drawings Have experience of managing teams Will have kept a site diary including recording variations Be able to review RAMS A Valid SMSTS A valid CSCS Card The successful candidate will be rewarded with a day rate of up to £275 Monday to Friday per day, and £320 per day for weekends.
