Head of Finance | Fast Growth VC Backed Tech Platform | Central London The Company We are delighted to be working exclusively with a VC backed Tech platform who are looking for their first Head of Finance to support the business as they scale. Growing incredibly quickly, the company have achieved revenue of over £4m in 2019 and forecast £8m revenue in 2020 (Year 3) and almost £20m in 2021. Having just moved into a spectacular new office of their own with plenty of room for expansion they forecast headcount growth from the current 40 to circa 80 at the end of the year. Based in Central London they are looking to add to their young, ambitious team who are motivated by having a real impact in the success of a scaling business. Crucially they want to have lot of fun in the process They are a down to earth, sociable bunch with a healthy approach to work-life balance despite the incredibly fast paced environment Their product is innovative and is disrupting an industry which is yet to properly be impacted by the Tech revolution. In the midterm they will also be launching a SaaS based solution. Backed by one of London's major VC funds they have raised substantial Series A Investment which will support a city based expansion across the UK and into Europe in 2021/22. The Role The Head of Finance will report to both Co-Founders and will be responsible for building the Finance function and driving commercial support, financial analysis and future funding rounds. As with most start-ups this role will initially be responsible for managing all elements of Finance until you have the opportunity to build a team. Bring the Day-to-Day Finance function in house establishing month-end and financial reporting processes Manage the production of Management Accounts Establish and lead forecasting, planning and budgeting processes (FP&A) Build financial model and improve P&L analysis Business Partner with the leadership team to shape the strategic direction of the business Liaise with current investors and produce investor decks Support the CEO with additional fundraising activity and due diligence Provide financial analysis and decision support to Sales and Marketing teams Improve the quality and accuracy of KPI reporting Implement improved financial controls Build out and manage a Finance team What we need to see (Essential): Experience implementing improved financial reporting processes A real enthusiasm for commercial financial analysis Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Excellent communication skills Desire to work in a fast growth start-up What we'd like to see (Non-Essential): Prior start-up experience Exposure to Venture Capital fundraising (supporting or leading depending on experience) Project managed the in-souring of Finance Excellent financial modelling skills Location: Central London Package: £65,000 - £85,000 share options Please get in touch at or give me a call on .
