Job Title: Domestic Location/Trust: Fairfield General Hospital Department: Estates & Facilities Band/Pay rate: £9.03 per hour (enhancements for weekend working) Hours: Monday - Friday 2pm - 10pm Placement Ref:33386 The Role Would you like to be part of a team that works well together, always there to help each other? If you answered yes, The Pennine Acute Hospital Trust would love to hear from you. We have a temporary placement opportunity available for a Domestic at Fairfield Hospital. The Domestic will be providing the following support to the outpatient team To assist in general cleaning of the hospital wards and other clinical areas. To ensure infection control policies are adhered to which ensures we maintain the highest standards of cleanliness. Responsible for the safe use of cleaning equipment The skills required are Some knowledge of COSHH, able to follow standardised cleaning schedules. Reliable, punctual and flexible Able to work in high pressure environment To be able to communicate effectively with colleagues Able to work part of a team To be able to read and understand simple data A good understanding of the Trust Values and behaviours and ability to demonstrate these values in the working day Fairfield Hospital is located on Rochdale Old Road in Bury and it is easily accessible via both car and public transport. There is onsite parking (fees will apply). It has an onsite restaurant where staff are eligible for a discount. The hospital also has a Royal Voluntary Service shop.
