Overview

Property Facilities & Shopfitting, Scrivens Opticians and Hearing Care This is an excellent opportunity to join our shopfitting, property maintenance and health & safety team. You will either already have, or possess the interest and desire to gain, experience and understanding in some or all of these areas of business. You will be joining the small internal team of a nationwide retailer covering 180 stores across the UK. Reporting to the Property Manager, the role will require you to work with the current team to recommend, agree and implement a programme of shopftting and property maintenance works and health & safety and fire risk assessment procedures. This is a new role which comes with the scope and flexibility to be closely involved in its on-going development. The successful applicant will: Be self-motivated with a commercial approach, possessing excellent communication skills Have a full clean driving licence and be prepared to travel as appropriate Live within commutable distance of our Head Office in central Birmingham where this role will be based Be ambitious and eager to progress and be able to work on his/her own initiative within a small team Ideally have some experience of working with computer applications like Excel. (Experience of CAD would be useful but not critical) Previous experience of Property Maintenance/Facilities Management advantageous but not absolutely necessary Working Hours - Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm
