PMO Analyst VN-15779 Permanent Birmingham Up to £30,000 A reputable financial organisation based in Birmingham are seeking a talented and passionate Project Manager. This role is very much a business transformation, solution development, software enhancement and software pipeline Project Management role. The ideal candidate is someone who is keen to get into the detail and challenges assumptions and solutions to ensure efficiency's and benefits for the business are maximised. This role is suited to someone who is prepared to get involved with the solution details to ensure the most appropriate solution is designed and delivered. Job Duties Principal accountabilities: Champion the project governance framework - liaising with Project Teams and Senior Management Analyse through monthly assessments the quality of project delivery within the portfolio, providing effective guidance and escalation where needed Administer the project management tool used within Change - developing capabilities to deliver more value Proactively ensure the project manager identifies and manages risks; and to ensure the project manager is actively managing RAID as part of controlling the project Prepare consistent and accurate portfolio level reports for Exec Level audiences Provide project support for governance activites Support portfolio management activities, including filtering requests from across the business and progressing where appropriate to the correct governance bodies Work closely with the Finance Analyst, preparing project financial reports as needed Skills Required Qualifications: Required - Degree level qualification or equivalent Preferred - Change Delivery Methodology such as Prince II or P3O Practitioner Knowledge: Demonstrate sound knowledge of Office 365 - particularly Teams and SharePoint, along with MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and project management tools such as KeyedIn, Jira etc. Be highly organised and detail oriented Demonstrate diligence and care for quality of deliverables Demonstrate strong analytical, interpretive and presentation skills Be a self-starter with the ability to work independently with little supervision Be able to manage conflicting demands in order to meet deadlines Experience: Required - Previous PMO Analyst experience (3 years or more) Benefits Whatever your role, we reward ability, performance and attitude with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you.
