Junior Data Analyst – Edinburgh Up to £25,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits MBN are exclusively partnering with a leading organisation with the energy and utilities space to appoint multiple Data Analysts within their central hub in Edinburgh on a 1 year Fixed Term basis. The team are going through some exciting changes at present, with the prospect of adopting more advanced analytics techniques on the horizon, there is opportunity to develop advanced analytics and machine learning techniques in an environment that will support and nurture the growth of ambitious and driven individuals. This role would be perfect for aspiring graduates or junior professionals, looking to pursue a fruitful career in analytics. This role will see you work across a culture that encourages teams to innovate, challenge and empower one and other to produce data driven outcomes on a daily basis. What you’ll do and who you are: · You will work across a variety of projects taking responsibility for the creation and development of reports, dashboards and analytics to provide key business insight. · You will be able to communicate complex data initiatives to non-technical and senior level stakeholders explaining the value behind the analysis. · You should be a competent user of SQL (Oracle or Microsoft) to run queries, manipulate large data sets and create reports. · Ideally you will have experience of using visualisation techniques to bring your analysis to life through the creation of dashboards. Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, Excel or equivalent. · Support on the delivery of MI reporting, delivering key insight and making recommendations from compelling analysis.
