Your team As part of the wider Global Delivery team, you will be joining Avaloq at an exciting time as we continue to grow. This team plays a key part in Avaloq's success and is involved in the delivery process from start to finish. As a Junior Business & Technical Consultant at Avaloq, you will have the opportunity to establish a very successful and highly rewarding career in the fintech consulting space. We will provide you with on the job training and mentoring and equip you with all the tools necessary to be successful. What you will be doing Analyse business requirements and processes. Evaluate possible scenarios and recommend best business and IT solutions. Build and parameterize functionalities to execute and implement business solutions in Avaloq. Participate in implementation workshops. Actively manage client relationship by communicating regularly and providing business consulting services to Avaloq customers. Prepare reports and project documents concerning new client requirements, ongoing activities and project status What you can expect Certification in Avaloq Technologies including specialist training in both technical and banking topics. Primary work location is Edinburgh, with the opportunity for travel in UK Europe depending on client work What we are looking for Relevant degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (preferred), Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics or Physics. Good programming skills (knowledge in Java or PL/SQL is considered a plus)Ability to work successfully both in a team and autonomously, including in distributed teams. Excellent client-orientation and strong communication skills. Passion for learning and continuous improvement. Fluent English, while French, Italian and German are considered as a plus.
