Data Engineer/Data Insight Analyst
Overview
My client, a Reputable Bank based in London is looking for Data Engineer and Strategic Data Insight Analyst. These are permanent roles based in London, with flexibility to work 1 day from home. Responsibilities: Data Validation / QA: Be confident bringing together data from a variety of sources, maintaining quality and accuracy Insight Generation: Work with key stakeholders across to understand data opportunities and generate data insights to realise how data can help support strategy Design Reporting Dashboards: Work with Data Insights team to design and create reporting dashboards, delivering the insights which underpin the group strategy Define Metrics: Develop an understanding of strategic direction and help to define key metrics that are pertinent to objectives Interpretation of Data: Identify patterns and trends within data sets to unlock opportunities for optimising the Group's estate. Create forecasts based on existing data, controlling for external factors Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with senior management and SMEs Management of Risks and Dependencies: Identify risks associated with data quality or reporting and highlight these, calling out assumptions and dependencies as necessary Group Values: Positively influences others by demonstrating company values and behaviours and encourages this in team members People and Self Development: Manages, motivates and develops assigned team members to create a high performing team Requirements: Must have demonstrable experience of SSIS, SQL Database for ETL and data load type activities Knowledge of Data Visualisation (Power BI) reporting and providing support and run services Knowledge of data and reporting platforms including data ingestion, storage and reporting capabilities Experience of working in a team of Visual Analytics developers, who will design and build reports and maintain the reports built Strong creative and conceptual thinker Proficiency in MS Office Ability to articulate complex information effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organisation Knowledge of Azure Cloud platform preferred, though not essential Please send your CV to Please note our advertisements use PQE/salary levels purely as a guide.
