Overview
We have an exciting opportunity to for a Systems Accountant to join our client on a permanent basis. The role will report into the Group Financial Controller and work closely with the Group IT Manager. The role will be key to the successful delivery of financial applications across the group. Client Details A well established organisation who have been expanding considerably over recent years now require a Systems Accountant for their Sevenoaks office. Description Responsible for the day-to-day activities maintaining master data of customer, supplier and products etc. across an integrated systems landscape. Takes ownership of finance applications, including Sage X3 and other reporting, expense and revenue management applications Key liaison with other departments including, HR, Operations, Payroll and IT support to ensure upkeep and management of master data structures Understands and champions the end to end flow of master data and ensure processes are implemented and maintained to upkeep data accuracy and consistency Creates awareness of current data quality issues and impacts by reporting data quality metrics and KPIs Able to easily manipulate, extract and upload data when required and support the month end close process Works closely with the IT team to ensure security protocols are adhered to Responsible for supporting users and the administration and maintenance of multiple financial applications Ensure smooth automation of data flows between systems in a timely fashion Management of system support desk to ensure timely close out of all user tickets. Assist with testing and implementation of new systems, including reconciliation of data and reports required for audit purposes. Profile Hands on experience in an ERP system, crystal reports would be advantageous Are business process orientated and have supported a business through a period of change Accounting knowledge or CIMA/ACCA part-qualified advantageous User support experience Excellent communication skills / inter-personal skills Ability to work closely with IT and third-party suppliers Strong excel and data analysis skills Ability to handle multiple work streams and prioritise accordingly Self-motivated and wishing to make a difference Job Offer A competitive salary and benefits package.
