Overview

ob Profile We are currently seeking an experienced and readily available Finance Business Partner to join a well-established, privately-owned firm within the Health and Wellbeing sector. This role will join an established leadership team providing excellent financial support enabling the organisation to make assessed business decisions. The Finance Business Partner will take ownership of transactional accounting tasks and duties, as well as being able to provide excellent finance based business analysis, reporting and strategic input. During a period of growth, it is important this person can hit the ground running and be able to quickly grasp a complex business model in order to provide in-depth cost analysis and budgeting insights. With the support of the FD, Financial Controller and Accounts Assistant; you will need to be a strong team player with excellent communication skills and possess a proactive, hands-on appraoch. Overview on duties and responsibilities Ensure accurate and timely financial management information is prepared with detailed analysis of Costs & Income Work in close partnership with individual budget holders and the group consolidation team to provide accurate, timely and comprehensive annual budgets as well as monthly re-forecasts To independently conduct monthly review meetings with budget holders and to act as a key point of contact to support the budget holders with commercial business, capital and investment proposals Carry out cost reviews to ensure costs are reported in the correct legal entities Accountable for producing the commercial business case for new business tenders Monthly presentation of financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances including understanding financial opportunities and risk To build strong relations and provide financial support to commercial decision making Challenge current ways of working, driving efficiencies and cost saving exercises where possible Review of monthly commitments and preparations of monthly accruals and prepayments reconciliations including timely follow up on any queries Assist with yearend audit Be comfortable dealing with and working through issues and operational challenges with project teams and other stakeholders, getting into details to ensure you understand the cost drivers of the business and can provide insight to the non-finance members Overview on expertise and skill set sought Qualified Accountant (CIMA essential) Management accounts experience is essential Solid account skills, diligent and accurate Experience of running and performing budgeting and forecasting processes Excellent commerical business acumen Strong analytical ability with high levels of accuracy Stakeholder management skills - stong communication with the ability to present plans to support business decision making Proactive and positive work ethic with a hands on appraoch Good time management with the ability to actively prioritise workload and ability to work to strict reporting deadlines Strong written and verbal communication skills Hours: 37.5 hrs Mon - Fri Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 DOE Location: Leeds Due to the amount of response we receive, unfortunately we are not able to give feedback to individuals, if you have not heard back within 5 days please assume that you have not been successful for the role you have applied for.
