If you are a seasoned professional scientist within a GLP laboratory environment, this is a fantastic senior opportunity within the management team. My client provides GLP studies to clients worldwide, and in this Head of QA position you will employ your technical expertise in a role with responsibilities for laboratory and data auditing. Based in the South East, the Head of QA role is ideal for an accomplished scientist with a background in fields such as pharmaceuticals, medical devices, clinical toxicology, regulatory affairs or even agrochemicals. Your day to day duties as a Head of QA will be: Managing Quality across UK facilities, for compliance with GLP Direct leadership of the team of QA staff Liaison with Business Development and Technical management to ensure regulatory compliance with any new clients Development of updated management systems and procedures Provision of training in related areas You will be an ideal candidate with this background: A degree, or higher, in a related scientific field A track record in areas such as analytical chemistry in a relevant GLP-compliant sector Ability to travel occasionally across UK-based laboratory facilities Prior experience of related CRO activities is highly desired I would like you to apply immediately with a CV (Word document format, 2 pages maximum) so as to not miss out on the opportunity.
