Overview

My North East client are looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join their ever growing team. This is an opportunity to join a well-established organisation to be part of their continued growth and to develop your own skills and expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to small and large scale projects across various sites, as well as the installation and configuration of server, storage and network equipment. The role does require travel to sites throughout the country, and can often be for days at a time. Key Responsibilities: -Implementation of IT solutions for varying projects and clients -Provide ongoing solution support to existing customers -Produce solution designs and supporting documentation as well as investigating and resolving installation issues -Install and support on various solutions. -Diagnose and resolve faults to a high standard. Skills and Experience Required: -Background of working with server and storage hardware as well as software including Windows Server 2008/2012/2016 and Windows 7 to 10. -Good understanding of TCP/IP networking -Ability to learn about new technologies and solutions -Excellent communications skills and a strong emphasis on good customer care.
