Buyer job opportunity based in Warwick managing multiple categories Your new company You will be joining a highly prominent heating and plumbing trade specialist, distributing a huge range of industry products nationally to professional tradesmen. Based in Warwick, the business boasts a huge range of specialities and relationships with some of the best-known brands in the industry. A wide network of offices and a robust infrastructure will assist in providing multi-faceted future opportunities. Your new role Reporting to the Commercial Director you will manage a variety of existing categories, buying specific products in line with demand whilst planning for other opportunities. You will help to optimise category performance via the rationalisation of suppliers and products and take accountability for supplier terms negotiations and the category planning process. What you'll need to succeed The successful applicant will have previous experience in Buying or as a Category Manager, with a sound understanding of retail principles and margin exposure. They will be customer proposition led and market focused, with the ability to deliver against challenging targets and results. What you'll get in return A salary of up to £45k dependent on experience, with a performance related bonus paid annually.
