Overview
Ref: 36605 Title: Interior Trim Buyer (6 month maternity cover) Division: Procurement Contract Position based at: Gaydon Position Description: 6 months maternity cover for an interior trim buyer within Aftermarket Purchasing. The individual will work on supplier availability metrics and supplier performance to ensure that part supplies are available to support JLR's availability target of 96% for the interior trim commodity. The role will also have a material cost reduction target. Skills Required: Supplier relationship management Negotiation skills Problem solving skills Experience Required: Experience of working in a fast paced procurement function and an awareness of supply chain and manufacturing disciplines. Automotive or Aerospace industry experience is desirable. Ability to build relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders in order to resolve problems effectively.
