Regional Technical Manager - EMEA Are you a creative and innovative Technical Manager looking to develop your skills working alongside industry leading professionals in a collaborative, positive and growing organisation? The role: As the Regional Technical Manager for EMEA you will be a key contributor in the innovation process, implementing great tasting products accurately, right first time in collaboration with the bottler/co-packer. In addition, you will guide the transfer of process between the business and external co-packers, design and execute experimental trials and transfer in-depth knowledge. Collaborate with operations in the search of new production sites to ensure that the right information about formulas and processes are assessed and communicated Collaborate with flavourhouse chemists/scientist with batching instructions to help transfer bench and sensory knowledge to assist co-packers during innovation production runs Responsible for the technical coordination at test runs at new plants with internal and external stakeholders, with an emphasis of as well as test parameters, process specifications, formulations etc. Manage the in-house knowledge base of product parameters associated with everything involved in the processing of the portfolio of beverages to enable a global approach to processing. This includes knowledge sharing on a global basis within the corporate teams based in the US Essential functions Responsible for the plant capability assessment Provide commercial formula guidelines to corporate technical manager for formula specification development Lead processing specific technical meetings regarding processing instructions with flavourhouses Train with flavourhouses to understand mixing instructions, control points and sensory targets for new formulas to enable successful transfer of mixing instructions to new co-packers Manage documents that are related to improving/establishing process parameters Act as technical lead for formula commercialisation at co-packers and bottlers Troubleshoot issues related with batching or raw materials Position Requirements Significant experience as a New Product/R&D/TS Engineer for a beverage, food or dietary supplement manufacturer Bachelor of Science in Food, Chemical, Processing Engineering or other related technical degree is preferred, relatable training and experience can be substituted for education Must be able to perform with minimal direction at a competent level A team and collaborative individual Demonstrated initiative and desire to work in a dynamic work environment with multiple demands To apply directly, please send a copy of your CV to or alternatively please apply via the link below.
