Now is your chance… We're looking for a User Experience Manager to join our Digital team here in Manchester. You will join an incredibly talented, passionate and supportive team who are committed to delivering leading digital experiences across our range of savings, mortgages and finance products and services. As a central digital team, we work across all business lines to support the marketing teams with achieving their digital ambitions. Whilst we're a reasonably small team of 6, we have very strong expertise covering the full marketing funnel, including: digital strategy, paid media, SEO, content, user experience and CRO, web development and agile delivery. Based in our dynamic Manchester office, you will sit amongst a team of 6 and report to the Head of Digital and Marketing Operations. What would your day look like? You will manage the user research, interacting with a diverse range of user communities to understand their wants and needs and reflect this back into new plans and changes to the user journey. You will be managing our external agency partners, to ensure that they are delivering results on our A/B testing to ensure continued developments in our user experience. Working in partnership with various stakeholders to proactively understand their challenges around the user experience and forming a plan for how we can address these pain-paints and optimise the user journeys in a prioritised fashion. Working closely with the Data Science and Analytics team to ensure that you have a good understanding of how our users interact with our website and find any opportunities for improvement. What do we expect of you? Passionate about promoting a user-centric culture across the bank, ensuring that user needs are at the centre of our decision making, whilst balancing this with the need to deliver commercial value. Experienced in user research techniques, including: interviews, focus groups and usability testing. You must have a real passion for engaging with different user communities to uncover valuable insights and understand what makes our users tick. Able to communicate user research findings effectively to help the business and marketing teams develop a deep understanding of our users and their needs. Experienced in A/B testing to continually optimise our web journeys. It's important that you can develop and manage the optimisation roadmap, working with our agency partner and in-house developers to execute tests and share findings. Able to manage the relationship with our UX agency partner to ensure that research projects are commissioned with a clear brief (aligned to our overall digital strategy) and that the objectives of the brief are met, with recommendations being prioritised and taken forward.
