Manchester (Flexible/Remote working) Very Competitive day rate 7 months At Sorted, we create game-changing delivery management software that sits in online checkouts, warehouses, retailer supply chains and on your smartphone. Our data-driven tech is used by some of the biggest retailers in the UK; we help them serve their global customers, making sure they have delightful delivery experiences. We are in the making of designing and building a new responsive UI product for our retail customers. This SaaS product will focus on consolidating our platform under one uniformed UI offering, giving our customers a beautiful way to access their data on the go in the world, whether this be from their mobile device in LA or their laptop on an A380 back to Manchester. The application will be a mobile first, single page application built for fast feedback using RESTful APIs and asynchronous designs to delight our customers. Were also experimenting with micro frontends so we can deliver value to our customers even faster. Requirements We are looking for someone who is passionate about UX, and who is able to work with whiteboard ideas, wireframes and mocks for guidance, but crucially not definition. You should be comfortable with collaborating with BAs, developers, testers, solution architects and marketers to make data-informed decisions on your proposed solutions. You should have experience of: * Good UX/UI principles, design patterns and practices * Collaborating with BAs, developers, testers * Designing applications considering mobile first * Knowing what bad UI looks and behaves like and how to avoid similar mistakes using data-informed design * Designing beautiful, detailed and user-friendly web sites, applications or UI * Working from whiteboard ideas, wireframes or, on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross platform design work It would be nice to have experience of: * Working with single page responsive web applications * Coaching or Mentoring other UX designers * Designing micro frontends * Collaborating with solution architects and marketers * Designing solutions for SaaS platforms
