Start your day knowing you’ll make a difference - we are looking for Female Support Workers to join our team of Support Workers in Bramley and surrounding Leeds areas to create a positive difference that improves life for the people we support. We support this person, who has a mild learning disability and physical disability, to access the community doing activities that she enjoys such as bowling, cinema, groups and trips further afield. We Support this person 5 days a week Monday - Friday either 9am - 4pm or 10am - 4pm. We are specifically looking for females who are confident and competent drivers and are happy to support a lady in the Bramley area of Leeds. You must be able to support with personal care and hoisting. Holding a full UK/EU driving licence is a must as the lady has her own motibility vehicle. There is the opportunity to support other people with variety of needs in the Leeds Locality also but this will be different hours to what is specified above so candidates would need to be more flexible (particularly if the individual in Bramley is in respite care for the week, working hours will need to be delivered elsewhere). The current rate of pay for this role is £8.29 per hour and will be increasing to £8.72 per hour from 1st April 2020.
