Escort / Handyperson Location: HMP Woodhill, Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, MK4 4DA Salary: £22K per annum Contract: Full time, Permanent Gov Facility Services Ltd (GFSL) are seeking a Handyperson(s) with escorting duties for their HMP Woodhill site in the East of England region. You will be responsible for a wide variety of repair and maintenance tasks and to carry out escorting and supervisory responsibilities to support the efficient running of the establishment. You will be assigned to tasks such as plumbing, painting, minor repairs, and also ensure the safety of personnel assigned to you in the capacity of Escort. Key areas of responsibility will include: Clearing and cleaning Ensuring the good working order of fixtures, lights and fittings Painting and decorating Assembling furniture and equipment Escorting Contractors Performing security checks Maintaining regular communications across site The successful candidate will hold a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths and have excellent communication skills. You will be able to stay calm under pressure and be a great team player with the desire to show initiative.
