Job: Senior Occupational Therapy Practitioner Salary: Grade 11 £35,934 to £38,81 Working pattern: Full-time, Permanent Working hours: 37 hours per week Location: Chichester This vacancy is subject to enhanced DBS checks and HCPC registration About the Role: At West Sussex County Council our Occupational Therapy team is committed to supporting vulnerable adults and children to live within their communities as independently as possible for as long as possible. Senior Occupational Therapy Practitioners are the most senior fieldwork clinicians in the service and are expected to maintain the highest level of clinical ability and interventions. The successful person will work as lead specialist, providing clinical supervision and support to less experienced staff to deliver an effective, efficient professional service to customers including the ability to manage risks within caseloads. To be successful you will have significant experience working as an Occupational Therapist in Adult Social Care. You will have experience working with complex Moving and handling issues and in planning housing adaptations, have excellent interpersonal skills and have experience of being a supervisor and mentor to junior members of the team.
