Algorithm Engineer – MATLAB & Embedded C / C++ / Python Permanent – Salary range from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum plus competitive benefits package including bonus, 25 days holiday, life insurance, pension etc Algorithm Engineer with advanced skills in C / C++ development required by market leading engineering company specialising in the development of mobile / IoT technology based in the Portsmouth area, Hampshire. The hiring company is hiring from mid-level to senior algorithm engineers. The Senior Algorithm Engineer will play a critical role in the full development lifecycle from design, development through to testing, working closely with the electronic engineering design teams. The successful Senior Algorithm Engineer will have detailed knowledge of real-time operating systems. The mid-level Algorithm Engineer will have technical knowledge within some of the below and have an eagerness to learn and make a significant contribution to product development as part of a close knit team. Key skills: - Software Engineering expertise in either Embedded C / C++ or Python - Strong knowledge of MATLAB - Demonstrated experience of algorithm engineering - Knowledge of RTOS - End to end lifecycle experience - Ability to communicate effectively across the business - Strong team player Desirable skills: - Experience within signal processing and or image processing This is a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Software / Algorithm Engineer to take on a key role with a well-established and successful company at the forefront of their sector with a strong pipeline of innovative products.
