Overview
The Opportunity A great opportunity has arisen at this innovative and successful global insurance company for an HR Advisor to work closely with a key area of the business for a 12-month maternity cover. You will be able to utilise your strong ER experience as well as work closely with the international offices. This is a varied and challenging role where you will utilise your expertise to add value and provide solutions. You will also get involved with a number of exciting HR projects. The Detail This is a true generalist role where you will make an impact on the business, driving process efficiencies, managing projects and providing commercial support to your managers. Accountabilities include: Provide HR support, advice and guidance to managers and staff on all aspects of the employee lifecycle Delivering accurate and commercial ER coaching and advice to your business area, including leading on disciplinaries and grievances Supporting with restructures including TUPE and leading redundancy consultations Ensuring the effectiveness of the performance management cycle and involvement in the year-end/annual compensation reviews Designing and delivering training sessions for line managers Reviewing and updating policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practice Supporting UK and Global HR Partners with MI reports, metrics and analysis Advising on talent management and succession planning, performance management, compensation Leading or supporting on key HR projects Skills and Experience You must have gained the above HR Advisor experience within insurance, professional services, financial services or a matrix environment You need to have strong ER experience, demonstrating that you have managed you own ER caseload including areas such as redundancy disciplinary/performance processes, dismissals etc Strong MS Office experience, particularly with excel, ideally some experience with VLOOKUP's and pivot tables You must demonstrate good communication, influencing and relationship management skills Strong organisational, multi-tasking and prioritisation skills with good attention to detail Adaptability, flexibility and the ability to work autonomously What's on offer?
