Project Architect (Detailing) | London | RIBA Chartered Practice Salary: Competitive Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be working with an established, RIBA Chartered Architectural and Planning Practice based in London. They are looking for a client-facing Project Architect who is experienced in detailing to join their successful practice in Central London. You will be joining an established team of experienced staff where you will get the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects across the residential and commercial sectors, including the refurbishment of old structures, and new build low-rise/mid-rise residential development in both urban and rural settings. You will also share responsibility for general operations of the office, and become an integral part of their rapidly expanding firm. With this role of Project Architect, there is an attractive salary, appealing company benefits and potential for progression within the company Working as a Project Architect you will have the following skills and experience: Strong knowledge of UK Planning and Building Regulations A minimum of 5 years relevant UK experience Minimum Qualification as an Architectural Technician or Part II Architectural Assistant Confident working in technical design and construction stages Experienced in the technical delivery of standard and bespoke detailing Proficiency in Vectorworks and/or ArchiCAD is preferred. Working as a Project Architect you will: Communicate with all members of your design team Attending and manage site meetings Assist senior team members in the preparation of project programs Be in charge of overseeing and running various project across the residential and commercial sectors Providing leadership, direction, and daily supervision. Managing client relations and, monitoring and evaluating the project as it progresses to ensure that the goals and objectives of the projects meet the needs and aspirations of the clients.
