Due to continued growth this global provider of systems and solutions for commercial and defence applications are looking to recruit an Integrated Systems Test Engineer Salary: Circa £30,000 - £45,000 per annum plus flexible working hours & days, pension, private healthcare and discounted canteen on site Suitable for: Systems Test Engineer, Test Engineer, Systems Engineer The Integrated Systems Test Engineer will join a team of experienced engineers to meet the challenges of providing both new & upgraded integrated systems to meet Customers needs. The Integrated Systems Test Engineer role is crucial to ensure these systems are fully verified and validated in order meet the requirements to the Customers satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Prepare, conduct and report V&V activities for integrated bridge, navigational and control systems (including Software functionality and Hardware Qualification as required). Produce/review project technical documentation to project schedule. Technical liaison with customers and suppliers as required. Reviewing and challenging technical documentation received from Customer and suppliers. Liaison with other engineering functions involved in the delivery of the programme (Hardware, Mechanical, Software, ILS, etc.). Ensure all responsibilities are delivered in accordance with Company Standards of Conduct and contractual processes. Travel to customer sites in the UK and overseas when required. Carry out any other reasonable management request. Background and experience: Please note for this particular role, all candidates must be eligible for SC - UK EYES ONLY clearance and therefore be a sole British National passport holder . Skills & Experience Degree or equivalent experience in software based integrated systems engineering, Control Systems engineering & Systems engineering lifecycle. Reporting test metrics, including test management tool experience Software testing experience of complex integrated systems Fault diagnostic skills including fault identification and reporting Experience in planning, conducting and reporting Hardware Environmental & EMC Qualification activities Experience of Verification & Validation activities within a Systems Engineering lifecycle Technical report writing skills to produce documentation to a high standard Self-starter, to assign and execute a variety of project functions efficiently and professionally Proficient user of MS office applications, Word, Excel etc. Experience in defining test requirements and test equipment Knowledge of maritime navigation and radar principles and technology Test Automation experience Familiar with IEC 61508 Familiar with IEC 60945 This role offers an outstanding career development opportunity and the chance to join a well respected global business Please apply as soon as possible to be considered for this exciting Integrated Systems Test Engineer role.
