Overview

Reed London & City HR are currently working alongside a large educational institute based in East London who are recruiting for an experienced HR Business Partner to focus on Employee Relations casework. Job Summary To identify and assist with all aspects of HR Operations and to use your expertise to add value and offer solutions. You will use your skills and knowledge to enable managers to deliver their management responsibilities confidently, consistently and professionally. To upskill managers by providing coaching and advice. Ensure policies and procedures support managers to make informed and reliable decisions. Provide Principals with management information to support decision making and planning. Duties & Responsibilities - Provide a full generalist HR service to the business - Develop relationships with Principals and line managers - Support managers to carry out their duties by providing advice, guidance and coaching on following best practice, processes and procedures - Source, plan and/or deliver training sessions for line managers, including updating managers where necessary on changes to legislation or best practice. - Support managers with a range or ER issues and cases – such as disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance - Assist managers in reviewing team structures and provide advice in the management of restructuring, including consultation processes and change management - Contribute to the HR strategy by leading on or supporting HR projects. - Updating the system with variations to terms and conditions and issue required letters or contracts
