IF YES - WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU If you have bags of energy and a passion for caring for others, we have an amazing opportunity for experienced female Support Workers to join a supported living service in Blaenau Gwent, supporting ladies with learning disabilities. We're looking for enthusiastic and passionate individuals who can encourage and support the service users with independent living, daily tasks and lots of activities. Due to the nature of the activities - we are only able to consider applicants who have a full drivers licence and a car. You will be joining a team that's in place to make people's lives better every day. You will provide; Personal care and support with getting out and about Promoting independence and decision making Promoting social inclusion and positive engagement in the community. So we are looking for individuals who ideally have; A background of supporting vulnerable people A positive outlook and enthusiasm for activities Openness to take part in ongoing training for personal development MUST be over 18 and have a full licence and car. Hourly rate: £8.72 / £8.88 £62 for sleep in shifts - you would be asked to do 1 per week Contract: Permanent contract; 20 - 25 hours per week Overtime is available if you wanted additional hours Shifts: Shifts are planned on a rota, 4 weeks in advance. Flexibility throughout the week is ideal as the hours are planned around the needs of the service users.
