Overview

GKR have partnered with one of the biggest names in UK real estate in their search for Group Reporting Manager. This is a role that will support directly the Group Financial Controller and be part of developing the finance function. Whilst a technical role, there is great opportunity to be involved with other commercial areas of the business. Role: Statutory reporting - production and review of individual accounts (UK, BVI, Jersey, Luxembourg). Maintaining a good understanding of all transactions within the assigned entities and liaising with auditors, taxation team, company secretariat and senior management to deliver accounts efficiently as per timetable. Statutory group consolidations across various levels of the organisation, including consolidation of FRS 102 entities in an IFRS group. Debt covenant reporting - production of quarterly and six monthly individual and group accounts. Review of proposed property transactions from Investment Committee Meeting from a technical accounting perspective. Support to the tax function, including the preparation of corporation tax provisions for accounts purposes and tax computations (CT600) for submission to HMRC. In addition, preparation of iXBRL accounts. Completing and filing of surveys from the Office of National Statistics. Performing balance sheet reconciliations across a number of accounts and entities. Performing VAT reconciliations and liaising with VAT accountant to rectify any issues. Client Contract Revenue Cash management accounts reporting - performing monthly cash actuals vs budget analysis and calculating full year forecast. Client Contract Revenue Profit management accounts reporting - performing P&L actuals vs budget analysis and calculating full year forecast. Providing financial concurrence and approval for purchase orders and invoice approvals. Other ad hoc duties including bank payments/transfer approvals. Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Accountant - ACA Preferred Technically strong with excellent knowledge of UK GAAP. Good knowledge of IFRS. Flexible and adaptable approach to cope with a changing, dynamic business environment. Used to dealing with complex entities and accounting policies. Confident in working to strict deadlines. Analytical and investigative work style. Able to build effective working relationships and to work across different teams in the Finance function and the wider group. Excellent written and spoken communication skills as this role will provide regular exposure to senior management.
