Overview

Senior Credit Analyst and Underwriter, Warwick, C £40,000 - £45,000 plus 10% bonus and outstanding benefits. Your new company Hays Credit Management is delighted to be working with this dynamic, progressive and well known business, based in Warwick, to recruit a Senior Credit Analyst. You will be responsible for the investigation and analysis of credit applications in order to provide balanced, informed and reasoned commercial credit decisions based on relevant company and financial information, working as part of the credit department to ensure customer service levels are maintained. You will act with a high degree of independence within approved credit guidelines, policies and procedures and can take decisions up to approved credit limits. You will also produce credit underwriting packages to relevant credit committees and business partner with members of the team. Your new role You will be responsible for accurate and efficient preparation of documentation and the credit application flow to ensure accurate and timely processing of applications, analysing complex credit applications and verifying credit data consistency. You will be communicating directly with customers regarding credit deals within approved guidelines. You will be required to comply with all applicable legal and regulatory requirements, including Corporate Governance, Anti-Financial Crime (Anti-Money Laundering), Anti-Corruption (Bribery Act), Competition, Data Protection and Consumer Credit Act. What you'll need to succeed You will ideally have 3 years experience within a similar role, and a corporate business background, within asset finance, with a very good knowledge of credit assessment, including underwriting and setting credit terms for blue chip companies. You will be customer focused with proven strong analytical skills in relation to financial and company information. What you'll get in return This business knows how to look after their employees.
