Project Finance Accountant - Global leading business Your new company At the moment we are working closely with one of the fastest growing testing and inspection business in the world. They operate in over 180 countries. They deliver critical services to the Energy, Transportation and Industrial sectors. The company is looking for a new Project Finance Accountant to join our Group Finance team based in the London head office. Your new role Researching and preparing financial analysis and reports to support Group Reporting team in preparation of annual CFO statement Engaging with stakeholders in the finalisation and implementation of the new IFRS 16 leasing process to the Group Oversee policy and process alignment of newly acquired businesses Manage the monthly and quarterly IFRS 16 reporting timetable to meet the deadlines Prepare, maintain, communicate and ensure compliance with the accounting policies Support the Group Reporting Team in ensuring projects are delivered on a timely manner Support the Group Reporting Team on leading long-term planning and ad-hoc projects What you'll need to succeed A successful candidate in this position will have: Experience with financial reporting and internal control Accounting and reporting background ACA Fully Qualified - Practise trained Very motivated and ambitious Good knowledge of IFRS What you'll get in return The new Project Finance Accountant will have the responsibility to drive cross-border projects. You will report into the Group Reporting Manager and will be a key part of the wider Head Office Finance Team.
