Overview

No experience is required working for a beautiful, friendly Residential Care Home based in Alton and Four Marks, providing care and support for four individuals with Learning Disabilities such as Downs Syndrome and Autism Spectrum Disorder. As a Support worker you will work with people with a range of Learning Disabilities, you will be expected to promote indepoendence and to support them to lead as fulfilling lives as possible. You incorporate social based and therapy activities. We are looking for Support Workers to work with individuals in this lovely care home who lead busy lives, they attend courses run by their activity team and they take part in a range of leisure activities in the community, such as swimming, trampolining, going to the cinema, visiting the library, shopping, going to the gym and attending social groups. Job responsibilities for a Support Worker: Ideally you will have some expereince as a Support Worker or Care Assistant or the Care home would also consider taking on a Trainee with the right attitute, and aptitude towards care (perhaps you will have personal expereince of caring for a family member)?
