Permanent HR Manager role based in Manchester City Centre- £33k-£37k Your new company My client is a fantastic not for profit business based in the education sector. This organisation prides themselves on their reputation and due to a recent restructure, they are looking to recruit an experienced HR Generalist on a permanent basis. Your new role Reporting to the Finance Director You will provide HR generalist support across the business to approx. 300 employees. You will work closely with the senior leadership team to provide a proactive and efficient HR service across the business. This role will act as the main point of contact for all HR related matters with a strong emphasis on the recruitment/on boarding process. This is a true generalist role therefore you will take a lead on policy/procedures, performance management, all employee relations matters, annual salary reviews, providing training as required. Due to the nature of the industry you will also be involved in safeguarding/compliance checks. What you'll need to succeed The successful candidate will have a strong background in a HR capacity and be able to work independently and pro-actively. You will have a strong eye for detail and as this is a hands on operational role, you will be expected to get involved in all aspects of the HR/recruitment process. The ideal candidate will have experience of safeguarding compliance or will have come from a highly regulated background. You must have a proactive approach and we able to drive new initiatives across the business when needed. You must also be confident on excel & competent in literature & grammar.
