Commercial Property Solicitor Gosport £25,000 - £40,000 (DOE) Are you a Solicitor with over five years' experience within Commercial property legal practice? If so, our client can't wait to hear about you About our client With offices in the Gosport area, our client is at the heart of the community offering expertise on a wide range of legal services in a friendly and approachable manner. Although located in Gosport, they act for their clients across the country, particularly along the South coast. There are now opportunities for experienced Commercial Property Solicitors to join this stable law firm, with the successful Solicitor being exposed to a range of areas of law to include business transactions, company agreements, freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, employment law and property litigation. About the role Managing a mixed caseload of freehold purchase and sale of commercial and business premises, site acquisitions, disposals and development, retail, leisure, factory office and residential, leases & renewals, portfolio management and property investments, property finance and rent reviews Drafting and negotiating contracts for sale, transfers, leases and agreements for lease, licences, guarantees and legal charges Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and updating terms and conditions. Attending to clients of the firm which could include a wide range of buyers, sellers, landlords, tenants, developers and funders Dealing with complex property matters Compliance with the firm`s routine time recording, accounts and administrative disciplines Active involvement in business development Requirements At least 5 years PQE within Commercial Property A good honours degree followed by LPC, training contract and PSC or similar Commercial property or Commercial law exposure gained at a law firm or in house Good client care skills, provide professional and competent legal advice in accordance with SRA Code of conduct Strong IT skills Capability to generate fees in accordance with agreed targets Up-to-date knowledge and skills in compliance with Continuing Professional Development, CQS and internal training expectations Proven experience of handling own caseload Ability to adhere to and manage deadlines The firm offer competitive salaries and employee benefits alongside a positive, friendly working environment.
