Position Overview: Boeing Defence UK Ltd have an opportunity for a mid-level Finance Analyst within our Rotorcraft Support & Autonomous Business, located in our Gosport office. The Finance Analyst will provide Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Financial Operations support to the Rotorcraft Business Manager and work closely with the Financial Operations team. The main areas of support in the FP&A role will be in coordinating inputs to the monthly forecasting process for Orders, Revenue, Earnings and Cash in addition the managing the related overhead expenditure forecast. Monthly variance analysis support to the lead FP&A analyst will be a requirement in the month end close process. The Financial Operations scope of the role will principally come in the form of managing the financial performance of one or more of our Programmes within BDUK. This will involve managing the relationship with the Control Account Managers (CAMS) to ensure both sound inputs into the Budget Baseline activity, the subsequent Estimate to Complete process and the monthly variance reporting against forecast/budget. As a successful candidate you will be embedded within a high performing diverse team working alongside various stakeholders in the wider Rotorcraft & Autonomous Business. Position Responsibilities: Working within the Rotorcraft support finance team, you will be expected to: Support the collation of monthly forecast inputs for Orders, Revenue, Earnings and Cash across the BDUK Rotorcraft Programmes in conjunction with the Financial Operations Analysts Provide timely variance reporting to forecast identifying key drivers for under or over performance against forecast and plan Support the forecast of overhead labour and operating expenditure for the Rotorcraft Business, working in collaboration with functional leads to develop a robust route to budget Provide support to the monthly labour expenditure analysis against budget/forecast on the key Chinook sustainment contract Ensure diligent cost management on aforementioned contract through management of chargeline requests Point of contact from a Finance perspective for our BDUK programmes, interfacing with the relevant programme lead. Support the initial budget baseline activity on new awards to ensure path to profitability Set-up of financial structure on the programme that allows accurate capture against the work breakdown structure (WBS) Provision of monthly variance reporting to CAMs Lead the collation of inputs for the Estimate at Completion process and briefing of changes to Programme Lead, Financial Operations Manager and Business Manager Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience): Significant Post Graduate or post Education work experience in Finance or Accounting Proficient on the basic Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Be pursuing or already hold a professional qualification in finance such as CIMA/ACCA. Sponsorship would be considered for those continuing their studies.
